However, after receiving proposals on time, the team’s constant follow up and their willingness to work with our budget, we were at ease! Once I expressed to them what color scheme and feel I was going for, they produced an amazing rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony and reception. Working with the Black Orchid team couldn't have been smoother. From initial contact to the day of our wedding, the attention to detail was great. Given how hectic the wedding planning process can be, especially when planning from afar, the team worked well with us and our wedding coordinator from the Viceroy. They responded in a timely manner and were a joy to work with. Their proposal was laid out in a way that made it very easy to visualize and make changes to that fit with the overall look and budget we set. To us, love is in the details and it sets the mood for the big day. They were very honest about what would be involved to get certain things done and they never over promised a thing. Most of the inspiration that was gathered was from Pinterest and the Black Orchid team brought our ideas to life. All in all we were very pleased. Aaron and I would like to thank you for all of your hard work in making our wedding day at The Viceroy so magical and special. The flowers and décor were just gorgeous! Planning a destination wedding in Anguilla while living in New York City is not easy, but Black Orchid made the process as fun and seamless as possible. We had many phone calls with the team prior to the wedding as well as a meeting during our site visit to discuss the concept and plans for our wedding day. Khondah was always available to answer questions and offer advice, reassurance and suggestions. From the first time we spoke, she understood our vision for the day and was enthusiastic about bringing our dreams to life! We were so impressed with Khondah’s expertise and sense of style. My wish was to create an elegant and chic celebration that complemented the stunning backdrop of Anguilla’s white sand beaches and turquoise blue ocean. We used lots of white flowers, hundreds of candles, and glamorous jewel embellishments to create the look. The Viceroy is undeniably stylish on its own, but with Black Orchid’s flair and talent it was made even more fashionable. Every detail from my striking white and pale pink rose bouquet to the dramatic, tall silver candelabras on our Tuscan-style dinner tables at Coba wow-ed our guests and us. We received many compliments from our family and friends and highly recommend Black Orchid to anyone planning a wedding on the island of Anguilla.
